McDonald’s Brunei first operated in 1992. After twenty-two years – McDonald’s Brunei has expanded to 3 branches – with the opening of FIRST McDonald’s Brunei Drive-Thru at Jerudong Park Playground. The third branch, also a Drive-Thru is located at Lambak, Berakas. McCafé is available at all branches – and enjoy a Hot Coffee available to be ordered at the Drive-Thru. History
The first McDonald's restaurant was started in 1948 by brothers Maurice (“Mac”) and Richard McDonald in San Bernardino, California. They bought appliances for their small hamburger restaurant from salesman Ray Kroc, who was intrigued by their need for eight malt and shake mixers.
